🗑️ Data Deletion Request
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data from Golf Caddie. Here's how:
📱 Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your data:
- Open Golf Caddie app
- Go to Profile → Settings
- Scroll down to Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your choice
Your data will be permanently deleted within 24 hours.
📧 Method 2: Email Request
If you can't access the app, send us an email:
- Email us at deletion@golfcaddieapp.com
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
We will process your request within 7 business days.

What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile information (name, email)
- All golf rounds and scores
- Statistics and analytics
- Custom courses you created
- Credits and transaction history
- Voice training data (if opted in)
- All preferences and settings
⚠️ Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure to export your data first if you want to keep a copy.
Data Retention
After deletion:
- Your data is removed from our active systems within 24 hours
- Backup systems are purged within 30 days
- Anonymized, aggregated statistics may be retained (not linked to you)
